MASCHINELL [originally created by Nen and Sloane]: a survivalist journey through a decimated cyberpunk landscape that nature has begun to reclaim. Full of rich characters and psychological exploration, MASCHINELL further investigates the entropic downfall of civilization back to tribal roots and survivor party units who must find balance between safety, war, and plans for the future. The year’s work was spread out neatly in front of his retinas just above the lens. He would sigh, change the data visuals with a single negative thought to go back or a positive thought to go forward. With his enclave of algorithms, he sped through mounds of anatomical and functional problems that his pseudomantic steelwomb was birthing forth. Wet, white chords hung from various machinery around him, looking more like fleshly organs than anything mechanical. The pipes were laced up in veins, bulky machinery welded together with sinuous ligaments.
Hennesy hung in the center of the carneous mandala, tending to them when their ticks and thumps went off track. They lived. The masses pinched like a mouth and shuddered like they were taking breaths, making opening in their weight as Hennesy drew closer with his thousand arms poised to bestow upon them upgrades and life, always more life.
